They indicate the quantity of product per unit of product purchased

The most important parameter is the pieces. Some products can only be purchased in packs of multiple pieces. For example, some chairs.
Unit of measure rate¶
The rate indicates the value to be multiplied by the quantity to obtain the conversion into the relevant unit.
Ex.
